Past performance is not indicative of future results. Historical signal detection rates, lead times, and accuracy metrics presented on this website or in any marketing material reflect historical observations and should not be interpreted as guarantees of future performance.

4. Backtested vs Live Performance

Some performance metrics displayed on this website are derived from backtested analysis. Backtested results have significant limitations:

• Hindsight bias: Backtests are designed with knowledge of historical events and outcomes;
• Survivorship bias: Backtests may not account for assets, markets, or companies that ceased to exist;
• Overfitting risk: Models may be optimised to fit historical data without generalising to future conditions;
• Data snooping: The process of model selection may introduce biases;
• Transaction costs and market impact: Backtests may not account for real-world frictions.

• Contagion signal calculations or classifications;
• Risk scores, indices, or heatmap values;
• Parametric trigger specifications; or
• Any other Output Data.

Market data feeds may experience interruptions, errors, or delays. Signal calculations depend on the availability and quality of upstream data sources which are outside our control.

6. No Guarantees

Cascade Analytics makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding:

• The ability of the Service to detect any specific future contagion event;
• The timeliness or lead time of any future detection;
• The absence of false positives or false negatives;
• The suitability of Output Data for any particular purpose; or
• The financial or operational outcomes of any decision made using Output Data.

7. Independent Validation Required

Users must independently validate all Output Data before making any decision. You should:

• Conduct your own due diligence and independent analysis;
• Consult qualified financial advisers, actuaries, and legal counsel;
